Are you ready for this? John and Lia’s Lake Erie PA wedding was one for the books. The wedding design was flawless, but even sweeter was all the heartfelt emotion of the day. These two are so very loved by their friends and family, and it was amazing to capture every priceless moment for them. They emphasized their vision for lots of authentic, in-the-moment images that truly captured the essence of their day. When I asked what inspired them to book with me, Lia said she especially loved the natural elegance represented through my style:
“We care most about shots of John and I and our families together. I would really love some fun shots when we are all dancing too. We want to be able to see moments captured when we aren’t even looking—small moments that we can remember.”
-Lia, Bride
Done and done! And the phenomenal band, The Groove Erie, made sure we got those dancing shots. I’ve photographed quite a few weddings, and I just can’t say enough about the entertainment at this one—the band interacted with guests the whole time and had everyone out on the dance floor laughing and having a good time. Be sure to check them out if you’re planning your own wedding. I highly recommend this talented crew!
If you’re on the fence about doing a first look, consider a first look with a loved one. Lia and her father had me reaching for the tissues as she came down the staircase to meet him on her wedding day. Their relationship is just beautiful. It’s deep and heartfelt, but also fun and easy going (check out those awesome dance moves for the father/daughter dance!!) I couldn’t get enough photos of those two!
Lia and John prioritized their experience with friends and family on their wedding day above all else. They opted for a traditional wedding venue with spectacular waterfront views of Lake Erie PA. The country club offers full-service wedding packages and coordination. Lia and John could rest easy knowing everything had already been taken care of, and they could enjoy their wedding celebration to the fullest.
Yes! Lia and John opted for a traditional Catholic wedding at St. Patrick’s Church. However, you can tie the knot with a waterfront ceremony on the North Lawn. Your reception will be held in the Renaissance Room, which features beautiful bay windows for sunset views over the water. The space opens to its own private patio as well as the bar and lounge for intimate cocktail hour spaces.
Yes, all catering is done through the country club’s executive chef. You may customize your wedding menu based on your needs and any dietary restrictions as well as children’s plates. They have a variety of beer, wine, and liquor selections. You can also order your wedding cake through the venue if you prefer.
The country club can comfortably seat 300 guests for a formal dinner. However, they may be able to accommodate more for a standing cocktail reception. Inquire with the venue here for more details.
All you need to provide is the décor. The venue provides tables, chairs, linens, silverware, catering, drinks, and more. You will need to book vendors for photography/videography, lighting, and DJ/band/entertainment (check out The Groove Erie!) You can opt for wedding cakes through the venue or another vendor.
