I didn’t travel through Vietnam, Turkey, and Thailand by myself because I prefer to be alone.
I believe in connecting with and learning from people, and that starts with getting out of my comfort zone. Adventure, for me is a mix of excitement and being a bit scared, but that's what makes it special.
I've wandered busy streets and joined intimate wedding ceremonies without someone to guide me. These experiences shaped my photography work, from cool Vietnam Adventure Elopements to old-school film and Super 8 videos.
I focus on intimate weddings and adventurous elopements because I can capture the bold spirit that's already in you, individually and as a couple.
About The Name

The "Allen" portion of my business name is to honor the love & legacy of my grandfather, Michael Allen Davis, but I call him Poppy — hence the poppy flowers in my logo! My grandfather was my father figure growing up and the most incredible + pure example of love & commitment that I have been blessed to have in my life. His love was sacrificial, patient, and kind — and I carry his legacy with me on every adventure.
