Exploring a new city can be intimidating; exploring a new country is even more daunting. For all of my fellow globetrotters out there, you know how good it feels to run into a friendly face who understands our dilemma and is happy to lend a hand—or even serve as a tour guide! I recently experienced one of the best Vietnam tours–and yes, it involved motorbiking through the hills! Thankfully, I ran into so many people who extended warmth and guidance along the way.

Exploring the Ha Giang Loop

If you’ve been following me on Instagram (or my stories, at least), you know I’ve been exploring Asia for the last few months. During my travels, I learned, laughed, explored, and tasted my way through new experiences that will stay with me for the rest of my life. My trip opened my eyes and my mind to a whole new world and culture in a way that will impact my work, personal life, and even my relationships. While trekking around, I met so many wonderful new friends. Even if we never meet again, their impact on me will last.

However, there was one particular connection that I’m especially excited to keep open. I had the pleasure of getting to know Cuong Vu, owner of the successful Vietnam tour company Ha Giang Adventure. The tour company offers stunning multi-day tours along northern Vietnam’s scenic Ha Giang Loop. The city is vibrant and warm, and the rural areas are breathtaking and filled with rich traditions and culture among the hillside villages. You get to experience both as you travel from the city out along the winding roads via motorbike.

The experience was unforgettable, and my camera rarely got a break. Along the way, I couldn’t help but think what an incredible destination elopement this would make for adventurous couples!

Top-Rated Motorbike Vietnam Tours

The tour company is already very established, with 200+ excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. They take small- to medium-sized groups on multi-day tours around the loop, stopping to meet the locals, try the food, and take in the scenery along the way. The homestay accommodations were so hospitable and cozy—it felt like a home away from home in another country! The trip brought one adventure after another, including waterfalls, boat tours, hillside hiking, craftspeople watching, and more. Then, we would all head “home” to play cards, tell stories, and laugh together. It’s a must-see experience if you ever travel to Vietnam, and definitely worth the time.

More to Come. Stay Tuned…

As the owner learned more about my work and vice versa, we decided this might be a perfect partnership! I offer destination elopement packages, and they have top-rated tours—I can’t think of a better match. So, stay tuned for exciting things that are in the works.

If you’re considering an Asian elopement (or Vietnam, more specifically), I couldn’t recommend this experienced, warm, and hilarious group more! They are truly just wonderful humans. Get in touch with me if you would like more info—I’m happy to connect you to these phenomenal Vietnam tours.

For Couples Drawn to the Road Less Travelled

I love weddings of all kinds, but those who stray off the beaten path—destination weddings, elopements, small weddings, etc.—especially speak to me. I would love to document your once-in-a-lifetime moments and help you turn them into works of art to display, enjoy, and relive for years to come.
