Winter Wedding in Pittsburgh | Oakmont Country Club

Kim and Brett were such a lovely couple to work with! I adore their free-spirit attitude, and the immense love between them is palpable. Amazingly, they contacted me just a couple of weeks before their wedding and planned it all in about a week! It was so incredible to watch, and they pulled it off brilliantly. (*If you want an expedited wedding, there are a few tips in here for you!)

Initially, Kim and Brett planned to get married in 2023, but a sweet surprise called for an earlier wedding. 😉 The two of them still wanted to move forward with a wedding celebration, so they got to work putting all the pieces in place. They were able to book a space with Oakmont Country Club since Kim’s dad is a long-time member. The venue was absolutely gorgeous!

Fownes Room

This room is ideal for cocktail hour or your rehearsal dinner, and golf enthusiasts will love the view of the championship #1 tee!

The Ballroom

This elegant space is perfect for an indoor wedding with up to 250 guests. It includes beautiful hardwood floors, a wood-burning fireplace, neutral decor, and stunning chandeliers.

The Oak Grove

Looking for an outdoor wedding space? The Oak Grove overlooks the pristine championship golf course, offering panoramic greenery in the background for your photos!

The Porch

The Porch is a charming, nostalgic al fresco space overlooking the golf course. The relaxed ambiance makes for an idyllic outdoor cocktail hour or rehearsal dinner.

The Library

For a small intimate wedding, you might host your rehearsal dinner or cocktail hour in The Library. While this quaint space is much smaller, it offers aesthetic character and charm.

With stunning decor, spectacular views, and excellent hospitality, this luxury country club venue on the outskirts of Pittsburgh check all the boxes! The expert staff is happy to assist you in planning menus, decor, music, entertainment, floral design, recommended Pittsburgh vendors, and anything else you may need. However, a member must sponsor all couples to book a wedding at the premier country club.

Premier Pittsburgh Country Club Wedding Venue

The Oakmont Country Club allowed Kim, Brett, and their wedding parties to get ready in the private on-site cottages. I was so impressed that these lovebirds pulled off a full celebration in such a short amount of time. They found a local florist and had their glamorous wedding invitations sent out digitally for faster delivery. Kim found two cute pairs of shoes, her jacket, purse, jewelry, veil, and dress, all in a couple of weeks!

In the blink of an eye, their wedding day arrived! Kim walked down the aisle towards her handsome groom, surrounded by their closest friends and family. Their vows were some of the most beautiful and heartfelt words I’ve ever heard! It’s easy to see these two are perfect for each other. They are both incredibly sweet and laid back, demonstrating kindness in every situation (and exceptionally photogenic, I might add). I couldn’t say more positive things about these two. They are just wonderful, and I wish them the very best in the next chapter of their lives and every chapter after!

Wedding Day Timeline & Photography Coverage

I put together a flexible timeline for Kim and Brett’s wedding day to ensure we had plenty of time for photos. It worked seamlessly and kept everyone informed and on the same page. We were able to get numerous stunning shots! They may have expedited their wedding day, but I wanted to ensure their photos were as glamorous and poignant as if they had spent a year planning. I typically recommend nine hours of photography coverage to fully document the day.
